Travelling to the Unknown -
Home Station : Birmingham New Street
Today was rather strange. I desperately wanted to travel on
the line between Shrewsbury and Chester, via Wrexham. I had to
time it right, so there will not be a lot waiting time.
Originally, I wanted to set off at 6:30am, as you can use your
rail rover at any time on a Saturday/Sunday. I managed to find a
train to connect to, but it only left me 7 minutes to change at
Birmingham New Street. I was extremly lucky. The train was on the
opposite platform at Birmingham New Street!. This train was very
packed, as there was a horse race meeting at Chester. I also
managed to take a photo, while on the move, a river coloured
orange! This located outside Kidsgrove Station. Something to do
with a mine nearby. It was also the first time in my life that I
have travelled toward Stratford Upon Avon from Birmingham. Then I
took one of a limited number of trains to leave Stratford Upon
Avon towards Oxford. Travelled Intercity from Oxford and then
back home.
What a strange colour river. Outside
