Winner
is Malta - 130 points
2nd Ukraine - 121 points
3rd Russia - 108 points
The 11th Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place at the National Palace of Arts, Kyiv, Ukraine, on Saturday 30 November 2013. The contest last approx 2 hours 5 minutes. On slightly earlier at 6pm (UK), 7pm (CET).
Timur Timur Miroshnychenko and Zlata Ognevich hosted this event.
The singers must all be aged between 8 to 15 years old on the day of their national final. They must have written their song themselves with no professional help.
12 Countries took part.
The winner was decided by televoting and a jury (which made up about 50% of
the vote), as like the main Eurovision Song Contest.
Different this year,
there are 3 prizes, first, second and third.
Special guest was Emmelie de Forest, the 2013 Eurovision Winner and Anastasiya Petryk, the 2012 Junior Eurovision Winner
The 2014 host will not be the winner of the Junior 2013 contest.
