The 2001 Eurovision Song Contest was held at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark on Saturday 12 May 2001. Presented by Natasja Crone Back and Søren Pilmark.
While looking at other Eurovision Site, this site was one of the first to update the results, even beating the official site! Full results appeared at 00:20 UK (01:20 CET) on Sunday 13 May 2001.

1999 saw a change to the contest. Each country can sing in any language as they like, but 15, more than half choose to sing in English. Another rule change, top15 countries automatically qualifies for 2002 contest. Bottom 7 are relegated.
