the selection of the Irish Entries for the 1999 contest, on
satellite channel, TARA.
The UK Great British Song Contest was shown on BBC1 on Sunday
7 March 1999 at 2:40pm.

The Results was announced on Comic Relief day, Friday 12 March
on Top of the Pops on BBC2. The winner was Say It Again
sung by Precious.
The Irish Eurosong 99 Contest was shown on Satellite channel,

What a disappointing results for both countries. United
Kingdom scored 38 points 12th Place and Ireland scored 18 points,
